Band Together was formed from the belief that music is at its best when it is shared.

In your band workshop sessions you'll learn more than just how to play an instrument. You'll come to understand how the different instruments can come together to form something greater than themselves, and how anybody at any level of skill and understanding can contribute meaningfully to a band performance.

Our workshops are two hours long, and are held once a fortnight at Pirate Studios in Bristol. At each session you'll be assigned to a different instrument before your group works through a song together. All songs are chosen and arranged in such a way that all of the individual parts can be played by a complete beginner with a basic sense of timing. We can then gradually increase the complexity until we find the right level for you.

Once your band has a few songs under its belt you can get involved in our student showcases, where you can invite friends and family along to watch you perform on stage.
